Owl Baby

I had a little bit of extra fabric, the stuff I forgot to use in the quilt and some extra quilt squares, from the owl quilt. I loved it so much that I just had to do something with it. So I made a burp pad and two little bibs. It actually makes a pretty cute ensemble..

Necktie Bag

My friend Kate gave me a huge bag of old ties and this is the second bag I made with one of them along with some old rescue fabric. The tie still has the tag from Fredrick & Nelson's in Seattle.

It turned out pretty good. It snaps shut in front and has a cute vintage button on the inside pocket.

Quilting Lesson

Yesterday I spent the day teaching two of my friends to quilt. We had a great time and it wasn't as scary as they thought. LOL

We all got one done!

I am really disappointed in mine because this morning I found a piece of flannel that I left in the washer... And it was one of my favorites, too! :o(
